Horny Donkey Kong at the 1994 VSDA Expo
In 1994, Nintendo had a presence at the 1994 Video Software Dealers Convention held at the Venetian in Las Vegas. The Super NES was at the peak of its powers and they were in full swing with promotion of their games such as Donkey Kong Country, Stunt Race FX, and others. The way they decided to use their space on the convention floor was to have a remote controlled virtual Donkey Kong head appear on a TV and interact with the attendees of the event.
In the instance captured below, Donkey Kong, being portrayed by a young Charles Martinet, uses his time to hit on women as they walk by, asking them to "swing on his vine" and whisper sweet nothings such as "Uniracers." It's wild. Check it out.
